Food shopping is well catered for in the local village of Villalonga (5 minutes drive). In the other direction is the village of Ador. There are a variety of street cafes and restaurants in the local villages, but a more lively nightlife can be found nearby in Gandia Playa, Playa Grau. Villa Bella is surrounded by stunning scenery. The extinct volcano of Safor towers above gently sloping wooded hills, decorated by an abundance of wild flowers. Orange groves surround the area of Monte Corona and a short drive south is the beautiful Jalon valley with its abundance of almond groves. As you drive down the coast with the Mediteranean Sea on your left, after 45 minutes, you arrive at Benidorm and its famous Terra Mitica theme park - its a great day out. Many festivlas take place in Spain and the local villages of Villalonga, Gandia and Oliva host many Fiesta's.
